The crossride kite, a machine which performs great at all styles and in all wind conditions is no longer a myth. Core has finally released the XR2, a kite intended to revolutionize the world of kiteboarding. The kite offers massive power delivery, outstanding control and it is also fun to ride. The canopy is built from high quality fabrics and reinforced to resist to the most severe punishment. The kite also features a solid strut configuration based on a middle strut. This configuration keeps the kite stable in all wind conditions. The kite is engineered using the Intelligent Arc technology, based on an optimized outline. By using this technology, the kite deploys a good amount of power and has a higher rotation speed. The rider can enjoy big lifts and jumps without effort. The new profile and tip geometry makes the kite very responsive and accurate. Even in strong winds and a high speeds the rider is in complete control. The optimal bar pressure delivers a direct feel and improves the comfort of the ride. The Core Riot XR2 is powered up through a One Pump inflation system based on a Speed Valve. This way the rider can set or pack the kite quickly and spend more time out on the waves. Core has also improved the depower abilities of the kite. In case of emergency it can be depowered in seconds.
The Auto Relaunch system sets the Riot XR2 back in air fast and without effort. The Core Riot XR2 is available in 5.0 up to 13.5 square meters size and it performs great when it is used with the new Sensor Bar. The kite is just what any rider needs to cover all waveriding, freeride, freestyle, racing and even new school styles.
Sensor Control Bar The new Sensor Bar from Core Kiteboarding blends usability with comfort. It is very light and offers a direct steering feeling. The pressure can be adjusted from light to strong, depending on the rider’s needs. It is very ergonomic and can be used with Core kites as well as with other brands. It is a one size fits all bar.
 CORE Technologie CORE Kites are known for using only the highest quality Material. Only specifically selected materials are used; such as the UV-resistant canopy. The use of only the highest quality materials is combined with a unique manufacturing method: Individual fabrics are first dipped with the coating before being woven and then being heated to the “Calendar finish”. In this way each individual fibre is sealed and this results in the fabric not absorbing water even after extended use; which is in stark contrast to fabrics coated later in the manufacturing process. In our production facility, in which only Tubekites are produced, we use sophisticated quality management, which work within a zero tolerance framework. This ensures that continuous quality is achieved. When you touch the Kite lines you can feel the unmistakeable quality of the material. All the lines and knots on the Kite are “Made in Germany”. Yes, we develop them together with our Partner Liros in Germany. Liros lines are well known in Aviation sports, for consistent and perfect finishes, reliable stiffness, abrasion resistance, sensitivity and safety. The flight lines of the CORE ESP-Bar have a breaking load of 368k at a diameter of only 1,8mm. The GTS has also new One-Pump-System. The tube lies streamlined and close to the canopy allowing for more cost-efficient servicing. Middle strut: We are of the opinion that the Middle strut should be “Solid as a rock”. For years we have tried kites or prototypes without Middle Struts or with “Infill-Floating-Struts“; only to confirm that the Flight stability suffers without it. As a result we have stayed with the tried and trusted: „Never change a winning team.“ |

 Another improvement is the “CORE Intelligent Trim System“ (CIT), with which the rider can individually adjust both the barpressure and the turning speed. The turning speed is adjustable from easy handling to super agile. The barpressure and feedback are easily adjustable from light to strong. On delivery, the Kite is already ideally set-up for 90% of riders. Pressure-less release on the virtual 5th line guarantees a high standard of safety; in combination with the unique 100% self unwinding ESP Bar.
